Katrina was the turning point in this country. Seeing the habitual lack of care for humanity is what sent his poll numbers to where they are now.
Barbara Bush's words: "So many people in the arena here were under privileged anyway, this is really working out quite well for them".
The family doesn't care about anyone without a thick wallet. Its time we started realizing that, both true conservatives and liberals alike.

The GOP is an entity, not a human being. It has no sense of compassion or caring. No, since it is impossible, I do not think it has any concerns, any more than the Democratic party has. However, I think that some people in the GOP have the same concerns that some people in the Democratic party have. They have cares about the job situation, the economy, their safety and way of life, and the general well being of their country.

Since the GOP is comprised of American citizens it only makes sense that they do.
If you are referring to the leadership of the GOP then the answer is, some do and some do not. Just look at the voting records on the issues that affect the vast majority of Americans and you will see which ones do and which ones don't.

Yes they do. We have lower unemployment, lower taxes, and a stronger military. As for the comments about all the tax cuts for business...I don't understand why so many people are against "big business"? Who the heck employs us? Businesses do. If they suffer, we all suffer. And no, I am not rich and I do not own my own business. But I work for a large corporation and if they don't survive, I don't either.

Number one, tax cuts. I know my paychecks have been better the last few years. Number two, Iraq. The terrorists have been really busy overseas lately fighting our patriotic soldiers and not over here bombing the citizens of America on our own soil. Number 3, they are fighting against EMBRYONIC stem cell research and abortion, which is protecting the future citizens of America. I could go on, but I know the democrats have already let their eyes glaze over with this one.

If you are a C.E.O. (and who isn't), they care about you very much. And they are very willing to prove it by sending the rest of the country's children off to war to even further bolster the profits of your corporation.
