A little light bleeding or spotting after an exam is completly normal if it's bright red or becomes more like a period then I would suggest you give your doctor a call but from what you said it's sounds normal I think you'll be fine~good luck and congrats!

same as above, spotting is normal, but if it last more that a couple of days, or gets to more than a little spotting, call the dr right away. To be on the safe side, take it easy, drink lots of water, and try to rest.

Completely normal. The blood supply to your cervix greatly increases when you're pregnant, and the procedure often causes a little spotting. Nothing to worry about unless the bleeding is heavy or doesn't stop after a couple of days.

i was 7 weeks preg when i got my pap done too.i went to the bathroom right after and noticed when i wiped that there was some blood.i asked my doc and she said it was normal because the cervix is so sensitive.thats why women also bleed after sex sometimes.i would call your doc if youre still spotting after a couple of days though just to make sure.mine stopped that same day.youre probly fine but call to ease your mind thats what youre paying the docs for!

A little spotting is normal, no worries. If it gets heavier or worse, give them a call if it will ease your mind. I spotted for a little while afterwards with both of my children, but only for a few hours or so.
Congratulations and good luck!

Spotting is normal after a pap but it should not be more than that. If it becomes more than spotting contact your ob.

I would call the Dr just to confirm...but when you get a pap test they scrape the cervix for cervical cells...it may just be irritated.

Hey,
It is normal, I know with my first one, I spotted to and even bleed a dark color blood and cover the pad, if you cover more than 3 pads, you need to go to the doctor, at least that is what my doctor told me!!!!

Yes its normal to have a some spotting afterwards, but it should only last for that day. If it gets heavier you need to consult your physician immediately.

Yes very very normal. My doc told me it was going to happen but if it lasts for more than one day you should call the doc. It is just the irritation from the internal exam. You are ok. :)
