The fact that you are even asking this question should tell you something. If you really loved him than you would not have any mixed feelings about marrying him. Really think about this one, he has some baggage, with being locked up and all, so you need to figure out if this is the best thing for you. Good luck either way.

You need to look at what is going on with his life now. What would you want with a man who is locked up in jail? He must of done something really wrong in order to be in jail. You are just asking for trouble if you marry this man. He is a convict for heavens sake. Be smart run and just be friends with this man. There are so many men out there that have never step foot in a jail cell.

Just wait and see and don't make any hasty decisions. If he loves you he'll wait til you are ready. He needs to keep in mind that the starting point for him is just getting out of jail so he needs to prove a lot to you before you make a lifetime committment to him. He is just probably scared that he will be out in the world with nobody and if he gets you to marry him then atleast he has someone.

If you have to ask others than I would say NO! If you love someone and you want to marry them - than nothing will stand in your way - Apparently you think you love him but did not say I love him - that immediately puts a question in my mind - Therefore, date for a while - find out who you both are - have a loving relationship and then ask yourself this question again - if you answer yes, I do love him, then celebrate and have a great wedding.

Give it another year to see what happens once he gets out. Don't rush off and get married.
Most people in jail love you more than anything just because they are in jail and they need someone. See is he loves you just as much once he's not behind bars.

Be careful, take a step back and look at the big picture...don't allow yourself to be used for a permanent address or for financial support..".till things get better." You can't really marry someone if you have never had a relationship with them.

Why would you marry someone who has been in jail? Even if he has changed his ways, he will still never be able to get a decent job. His life is over. Do not let him bring you down. Not only, should you not marry him, you should never speak to him again.

I would be his friend first and then after he is out and has gotten himself together then consider being in a relationship with him....maybe marriage will be something to consider in the long run
