because you can't decide what to say first, right? it's not a confidence issue, it's one of thinking that you must get it right the first time. just say anything and then edit and add to it and reprioritize as you go along. the person might misunderstand at first but then if you keep talking until it has all been explained.

You need to mull over the problem in your idea and you need to put it to words. Tell the person to wait and if it is your mate the core of your problem will work itself out in the conversation.
You feel like Lassie. You need to bark about Timmy being down the well. It will spit out eventurally. So silence of now is OK O you do not want it to be known that you are a blabber mouth or gossip so silence before some people are good.

rather than trying to remember all of the things you want to say all at once... start a conversation with something easy to talk about.... then, once you've gotten started, and the person is listening, and responding... you can build on that and move on to more important topics...

Also, don't try to do this all in 1 conversation... build trust first.

It could be that the thoughts are swirling and making you unable to concentrate on being able to express them. Isn't it ironic that just when you have the most to say, you're unable to do it!
