Funny how only libtards are afforded the benefit of doubt when it comes to a "botched joke" yet scream for blood and force a resignation (Trent Lott) when the shoe is on the other foot.
I guess blatant hypocrisy doesn't allow a two way street, huh?
What's good for the goose ISN'T good for the gander, huh?

What's funny is this has been three or four days. Libs wanted to discuss Foley for WEEKS after the scandal was brought to light. And keep in mind, this was AFTER he'd already been dealt with. Now that's created backlash since it was found to be a George Sorros-funded group that innitially broke the story, after holding onto the source for MONTHS.
This has nothing to do with a "botched joke" and everything with a freudian slip revealing the true heart of John Kerry and the demoncrats regarding our U.S. military and our brave men and women who are fighting in Iraq. And who better to do it than the man who has accused our troops of sneaking into homes in the dead of night and terrorizing women and children.
And what's Kerry's excuse? "It was a joke! If you think it was anything else, then you're stupid too!" Well, evidently, those troops who were insulted by it are uneducated as he claimed them to be.
THEN, he ARROGENTLY refuses to appologize, instead becoming defensive in a speech, saying, "I appologize to NO ONE...", and then trying to shift attention to the president! How old IS Kerry? Ten? *rolls eyes*

It wasn't a botched joke no matter what Kerry says. A botched joke would have been humorous if told properly and this wasn't. He knew exactly what he was saying because he was saying it to a group of college kids who would NOT be going to Iraq.

Please explain the joke. Give us the text of what Kerry was actually trying to say. Tell us how he managed to forget to mention George Bush, the man that beat him in a nationwide election, in a joke that we're now told was directed at George Bush.

Yep, it's pretty pathetic that fox news and the conservatives are STILL talking about that. Thats all they have...well that and that a "vote for the democrats is a vote for terrorists." I guess thats more pathetic. Republicans must think Americans are pretty stupid if they expect us to belive that garbage. Can we talk about issues please? and not play the third grade name calling game.

What blotched joke? I think Cheny said it best. "He was all for the joke, before he was against it."
