I'm Italian and married a Mexican man. We've actually had to both learn and adopt eachother's traditions/cultures. For instance during Christmas many Mexican households eat Tamales and participate in Posadas. I have since learned how to make Tamales and visit his family in Mexico to do Posadas. My family always has fish on Christmas Eve, and doesn't eat meat on Fridays. My husband has accepted this traidition as well, and now enjoys it. It think it's fun to learn all the ways people keep their culture alive, and to celebrate them. It also has opened my eyes and it will be something we share with our children.

Lots of American traditions come from other cultures - most of them seem to, actually. But I understand your question. As for myself, no, not yet. I'd hate to perform a tradition or ceremony incorrectly due to lack of knowledge of the subject, ignorance, or just plain screwing it up.
