are all Fm Transmitters crap?

I want to listen to my MP3 player in my car but only have a CD player so I would have to get a FM transmitter. I have spoken to a couple of people who have them and they said the sound isn't very good. Does anyone know of any good ones?

i prefer my 20 dollar wallmart transmitter it runs off batteries but it works perfect up to 10 yards away and the 2 aaas work around 20 hours

If you get one make sure it is NOT battery powered. Get one that runs off of your cars cigerett lighter.
