unfortunately -- you and i can do very little. except sending e-mails warning about the dangers to friends and relatives. while governments, united nations and political parties can do much more and should do much more. it takes political will and that is lacking
for the time being --unfortunately. the public -- i.e. us should keep e-mailing our political representatives and demand action. it is a very dangerous situation with one |"man|" onE individual controlling the fate of nations and sometimes humanity. the Iran president of |wiping off the map an entire state or a historical people's people. -- shame that the world does not wake up the challenge/call and put effective barriers to such leader-s ! of nations...i do NOT rest my case until i see real action from the decision makers.

We need to work with the United Nations. Our country should not ever go it alone. We need to stay tight with the other countries that are also worried about the Nuclear Arms.

We as people need to start really studying the background and qualifications of the people we elect to any office. Sometimes I think us Americans vote blindly. Pick the best name, the one we think will win, the one who advertises the most, the one only in our party. What are we doing?
You could vote for someone who is not good for our country or who is the next dictator. Remember, all politicians start out in the smaller roles (University Regents, Councilmen or women, Mayors, or city boards, or school boards. They work up from there. If you would not want this person running your country, VOTE for someone else.

Do your research first. Lets get someone in office that will work with the other countries to prevent a Nuclear Holocost.

I'd ignore them. Neither one can wage war on the US, or have weapons to do so now, or even in the near future. If we minded our own business, we'd be a lot better off. Let the nations around them police them--like Japan for North Korea. Why should we spend our military $ to make Japan safe, they have more money than we do. Or China, they should take some responsibility if the idea is that more powerful nations have a responsibility to maintain regional peace.

It is said, that the best offense is a good defense. Bush is the dumbest President our country had seen in 230 years of our existence.
The North Koreans and Iranians are very smart people. They improved their defenses during this dumb President's term in the office and they succeeded, and Mr President did the opposite, weakens its defenses got many soldier killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, had created a civil war in Iraq and none of the problems got solved, Osama never got captured. War on terror is now war of horror, with no end in site and no timetable. If this is picture of an intelligent President, then we need to evaluate and overhaul the state of our School system in the United States.

I wouldn't do a thing about any country that wants to make nuclear weapons. I say let the have as many as they want. But the minute they use one everyone else just launches one at them.

Look at it this way, if we both had guns to one anothers heads knowing that when one trigger get's pulled we both die...who would be the first one to pull the trigger?!

Embargo until they comply . Get China and others to do the same . Call all US citizens back to US. Freeze them out economically and politically.
