So i had a trade offer for me to trade Drew Brees and receive Frank Gore in return.
I now have engineered a trade where i give up Drew Brees and Edgerrin James, and get Brian Westbrook and Amani Toomer.
Thats a no brainer right?

I should add that yardage scores fairly well in my league. Here is what each player has scored so far.
Toomer - 49 points
Westbrook - 122
Brees - 109
James - 78

Holy crap! You actually got somebody to take James off your hands and give you worthwhile players in return??
I want the recipe for THAT kool-aid!
Hit the accept trade button, before they regain consiousness!

This is alright based on your other players. I have Amani Toomer in my league, recently he hasn't been doing much for my team. Burress and Shockey have been scoring most the receiving TD's. I also think that having a quarteback and receiver from the same team on your fantasy team is risky. If they run into a good defense it hurts scoring in two positions. However, the flip side is good weeks with double points. That situation is always nice.
Westbrook is awesome he will get serious yards receiving and running. Brees is always hit or miss, I went to Purdue when Brees took them to the Rose Bowl. I absolutely love watching him play, although I must admit he is a very streaky player. In FFL he will have a weeks where he puts up good points, then the next week you are hit with a negative because he threw 3 int's. The Edge was great in Indianapolis but he won't do much in Arizona, because he has no offensive line. The end result, its a decent trade because Westbrook is solid and will get consistent points. Toomer will have his games where he gets good points, and usually put up decent yardage. This is what you get for giving up Brees who puts up points but not consistently, and Edge who won't do much for the rest of the year.

Toomer is inconsistant and you cannot go wrong with Running backs. You have a backup in Romo, but could probably do better for Brees, because James and Westbrook can be considered an even trade considering his injury riddle past and even season.

who are your rb's now?
i would have taken the gore/brees trade.. frank gore is a beast and is the only good thing going in that niner offense.. plus you already have eli and tony romo.. no need for brees
the trade you offered is good too.. gettin' rid of edge + a qb you don't need for a solid wr and rb works to your favor
