Switzerland did. They suffered no casualties, little to no bomb damage, and made a mint. They sure do look like the winners to me. BTW I'm not Swiss

Very few wars have a clear winner. However, The allies prevailed at the end of WW2. Millions upon millions died on all sides.
Europe today, is stable...Japan has no real army or Navy and maintains neutrality. The world was insane during WW2. But, we are free today because of the efforts of the Allies. And the Ethnic groups that were doomed by the Axis powers have become vibrant and their children have become Nobel Prize winners. If the world ever learns that war is evil....the world will be a better place. In the interim...Thank your lucky stars that you live in a free society as a result of the War between good and evil that ended in 1945. See the Movie: "Saving Private Ryan".

The British won that war, we fought the Germans on our own before the Americans or the Russians showed up, we also fought the Japanese and Italians before the Americans, but the Americans MUST be credited for everything in that war, because it isn't right if they dont! (despite they were the last of the Allied nations to fight the Germans) and Britain did 90% of the work on her own!

Israel. They were granted a state for their immense sufferings.

One that had been promised them some 30 odd years before.

It took the holocaust, as they call it, as birth pangs and the world conflict to bring it about.

They were given it as a safe haven.

Funny how it is constantly being attacked.

Ah well, man never learns.

I didn't know they participated in the 2nd world war. I would think that winners/losers would have to participate in order to determine that.
Did they Benefit? Yes, as a parasite does off the host. Is that winning?

Sure, your facts are basically correct.

But your question makes it appear that you believe that 'making a mint' etc justifies ignoring atrocities being practised against millions of innocent people by an insane megalomaniac. Hitler and his Nazis were true losers.

Yours is a totally selfish attitude worthy of drug pushers - losers who get rich on the proceeds of misery and death! And please note: I'm referring to yourself, not to the Swiss. I don't know enough about our Swiss friends and their politics to make any comment about WW11.

Im afraid your wrong America won by a mile. They made Hundreds of billions from all parties before they joined. so much that britain has only just paid her debt off! Also by entering later they were able to build up their forces, whilst the whole of europe ravaged itself, thus making it easier for the yanks to come in an clean up, and make themselves look like the hero's. which won them allies across the whole of western europe who would come in handy with the cold war. they also basicly took Japan under their control.
