I mean... it's good of course...

but that's in the past 5 years... so he's not even reached his own personal low yet... so he's still higher than it's been under him... overall, not the best rate of growth...

the simple fact is... the economy is starting to go in the direction it was going in the 90s... starting... but he's not been able to maintain that kind of continual growth in his presidency... it's always been one step forward, one step back...

I mean it's better than the economy getting worse of course...

the unemployment rate is down, But we must remember the jobs that opened when our soldiers took off to war. 4 years ago. I will not set and put it in my mind that Bush as done a great job because i would be lying to myself if I did. I am not pleased with the war, I am not pleased with the way the Hurricane victims were treated on American soil. The way the families that lost love ones, that are getting sick over 9/11. It angers me to know that these are Americans in America that are not being treated right. So how can you set and say that he has done a good job.

The economy is in great shape. The only people who don't believe this are liberals and it is to their advantage not to believe it. This is because the fastest way to win an election is show the economy is dismal. It cannot be denied that war supports economic growth. It always has. Because of soldiers being out of the workforce it opens positions on the homefront. Plus additional jobs are created to support production related to wartime efforts. The simple facts are unemployment is low, the stock market and GDP are up. Conclusion: The economy is good.

Count: I would like to see you support your conclusion about job growth.
1) What is a living wage?
2) Where did you obtain your statistics?
3) How do you know how many illegals are taking jobs if they are not on the tax roles?
4) Exactly how is it that you are privy to who is working in the intelligence sector as this is guarded information?

So Bush has got unemployment back down to where it was under Clinton. And it only took him 6 years.

Well, it's not really down. After receiving unemployment for a certain period of time, you are no longer eligible...thus the number is going down.

Genius, learn to spell...

I think it's pretty incredible how this president has managed to get us out of the Clinton/Gore recession. And I know the libs will argue with me on this. However, consider that economic changes take three to four years to become noticable... It was right around 2003/2004 that the economy (according to graphs provided by my LIBERAL friend, BTW) began to pick up, and it's been surging ever since.

America has been at war since early 2002, thousands and thousands of soldiers have left our country to fight the war on terrorism and defend our country. This has opened up just as many jobs!! Taadaa!! George Bush's cure to unemployment and his pocketbook, all in one devastating pointless idea!

That is great news.

77,000 of the jobs don't pay a living wage
5,000 are filled by illegals and the companies don't report tax

The other 10,000 are to spy on the rest of Americans.

If the situation EROCK worsen I would not be surprised if the UE rate goes negative.

I can hear it now:

"The -7.4 % unemployment rate was the lowest ever in history."

BLACKs had 100% EMPLOYMENT rate in the SOUTH pre 1860s or 0% UE rate.
