If they end up undefeated, they have to be in the BCS.
I think they are better than some of the top ten teams. Even Louisville, who has a great offense, but it was clear last night that they can't stop a nun from stealing on defense.

unlikely, as a non AQ convention group HAS to win their convention besides to be eligible. As of Saturday, this is very unlikely that BSU will win the Mountain West. Why? because of the fact TCU is the Mountain West chief at this element and the Frogs have 2 ultimate video games, the two at domicile, against Colorado State and UNLV. TCU might ought to lose a sort of video games for Boise to win the convention. TCU has lost 2 video games this year, SMU and Baylor, in spite of the undeniable fact that the two have been non-convention video games. right this is a real nutty element approximately BCS regulations: if TCU can get into the precise sixteen AND win the Mountain West, it would be eligible to play in a BCS bowl because of the fact Cinci, being from an AQ convention, isn't even ranked - circulate determine. Disclaimer: previous Horned Frog myself. it relatively is been relaxing watching the purple Reign the previous couple of years and Saturday's activity against BSU replaced right into a real curler coaster! Hats off to ok. Moore and his Broncos - that youngster is one deadly QB on the sphere and TCU had to play with each little thing they had to drag off that disillusioned.

I think it would be great to see Boise State in a BCS game instead of playing a "bowl game" on their home turf each year. Hey guys let's stack the bowl game in our favor and play it at home just like all the other cream puffs we'll play throughout the season.

However, they won't get into a BCS game.

Boise State is gonna have to play a tougher schedule to get any kind of BCS recognition. If they run the table, they could make it to a BCS game on their record alone, but it's a big COULD.

I think there ends up being to many 1 loss teams from BCS conferences this year for Boise St to have any chance. There strength of schedule, even if they go undefeated, kills them.

Realistically if the run the table they MIGHT get a bid to a game against a big conference winner with 4 losses. BUT in the current system, very doubtfull unfortunately. Same holds for Rutgers even though they might beat two highly ranked teams.

My opinion of BSU aside, if they go undefeated they WILL go to a BCS game...look at any of the websites about college football...ESPN, Scout.com, etc...I think those people know what they are talking about and they ALL have BSU in the Fiesta Bowl vs. Texas...we can argue about whether or not they belong there all day, but the experts seem to think that's where they're headed...not to mention there can mathematically only be 3 undefeated teams at most by seasons end...

They will get in... to be in the top 12 in the bcs standings is not that tough to do, esp if they run the table, which they will. They will probably go to either the Rose Bowl or the Sugar Bowl

zero. Even if they go 12-0, their strength of schedule rankings in the final bcs computer polls will be much lower than high ranked teams of major conferences

I doubt they get it, but it would be great to see it happen. I think their strenght of schedule will hurt them. They need to schedule tougher non conference opponents like their WAC counterpaart Fresno State has been doing the last few years.
