So you are asked to defend the reverse are you? The proposition that woman of today has not grown faster than man?

If so, you can think about what "grown" means. You might be able to show that (for example) "equal opportunities" means just that, equal, not more. Or that men still earn respect and privilege and power more easily than women? (Look at the lists of company directors for example and see how few women there are.)
