If complaining will make a difference for myself in the future or for others, then I have no problem constructively building my argument and delivering it. I will send back the steak that's overdone, I have no qualms about insisting another till is opened when too many people are queuing, and I will lovingly tell a friend I need to "pull myself toward myself" so she can give me the advice and chastising I need to be the best I can be.

Hey - my moto is if you can't take criticism yourself, however constructive, you've no right dishing it out!

I do both depending on the situation but before I voice them I try to take a breather so I am not voicing with total anger and looking like an idiot!

I usually voice them. I feel it's unfair of large companies/corporations to think that 'little fish' won't play in their pond and am happy to voice my complaints to them.

I voice them, but only to my co-workers, not my boss. When I do complain to him, things don't turn out the way I wanted so I very seldom do that anymore.

If something is hurting someone, I speak up. One person can speak up, and then it's easy for others to follow suit. This is how history has been changed. My biggest issue is if people are being hurt.

I don't believe in cutting my nose off to spite me face, but I don't believe in letting someone piss on my head & tell me it's raining either. You just have to learn to pick your battles.
