Assuming Michigan loses to Ohio St. there should only be two logical answers to this question.
1. Michigan has an argument as the best 1 loss team in the country. Unfortunately for them, there loss comes to late in the season for it to really matter. The human polls drop them to far for them to stay at #2 in the BCS and they go play in the Rose Bowl.
2. Texas. The only other 1 loss team whose only loss was to the #1 team in the country. The loss was early in the year with a freshman quarterback in his second college start. If you want to argue that the Big 12 is weak this year then go ahead but Texas will have beaten 3 maybe 4 Top 25 teams by the end of the year. If the BSC is logical at all what we get is:
The Texas/Ohio St rematch in the desert for all the marbles.
Hook'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Colt's not a freshman anymore.

Nebraksa should have beat Texas and USC handled Nebraska.
Its too hard to call. There is no one loss team that deserves to be seperated from the rest. Really Tenn, Florida, Texas, ND, USC, WVU, Cal, all seem about equal from my point of view.
So if I absolutely had to coose right now I guess Florida by the slimest margin. At the end of the season it may change.

If Louisville goes undefeated they will get to the Championship game. The best one-loss team would have to be someone from the SEC, Tennessee or Florida. Notre Dame is good, but the defense is not playing well.

Georgia lost only one game to South Carolina only because of missed filed goals and have gone on to win every game after the SC lost game. They won 2 games without there number one running back. Should they go on to win the Eastern Division of the SEC and win the Championship game against SEC West winner. Based on the rest of the games if they get by number 4 Auburn and win the SEC Championship how can they be not chosen as one or the 4 finale teams.

Florida, due to strength of schedule.
Those saying Michigan obviously haven't noted that beyond Notre Dame, their non-conference schedule was a joke, and outside of Ohio State the Big Ten really blows this year.

I agree with TEXAS now, but after the OSU-MICH game, I think that MICH will be. Yes, I am a Huge BUCKEYE fan. Yes, I am confident that my Bucks will beat them in Columbus. But as long as it's close either way, I think the loser of that game is still #2. I watched Louisville last night and wasn't that impressed. I think any of the 3 teams mentioned and Florida would beat Louisville pretty bad.

There is ABSOLUTELY no way Texas is the best one loss team..To anyone who would even say that is out of their mind..They would get the S*** kicked out of them by Floridia, Auburn and Tennessee..Texas plays in a completely weak conference..I would probably say LSU would beat the snot out of them also..Maybe even USC and Notre Dame..
