Many politicians today are career politicians. Their motivation and the decisions that they make owes more to whether it will serve them well personally, rather than what might be in the best interests of the country. This current Government has forgotten that it is there to serve us, and not to set up a left wing totalitarian regime, which seems aimed more at destroying British culture with its obsession with PC, minorities, immigration, and the eventual handing over of sovereignty to the EU. We have never had a government so absolutely determined to destroy the traditional English way of life. Unfortunately, the process has been going on for some time, aided and abetted by indoctrination from left leaning teachers/lecturers, and not forgetting the biased TV media.

The answer by Veritas is the most sensible and thoughtful.Of course MP's only think of themselves; witness the vote in the Commons this week as to whether there should be an independent enquiry into events leading up to the invasion of Iraq. The motion was defeated by a narrow margin and only because half of those Labour Map's who opposed the war originally changed their minds to secure their own jobs until the next general election. Instead of asking, How will this effect my constituents? they ask, How will this effect me and my cushy job on the back benches?
There's no question. When considering how to vote number one is the first consideration.

Wrong question...........the Government is an amophous mass which is incapable of thought......it is time that elected individuals thought about the people. On that point, I would like to say that one of our area elected MPs is doing just that in relation to the Farepack scandal. She has called for each MP to donate one days pay to those robbed of there saving by that company. Should also point out that local companies and local people are also pitching in to help those left 'high and dry'

Thinking is not on this governments agenda as far as the public are concerned. Unfortunately neither of the two other main parties fill me with confidence. Cameron is a pra**, and Ming - can write here what I think of him.
Would like to see a Peoples Party!!!

I expect they must think. The problem is they`re so busy thinking how to cover things up that they`ve done and don`t want us to find out about, theres no time left to think about what we might want .Then theres all the excitement of their dodgy dealings to distract them, most likely this country is on the bottom of their boring jobs that need to be done list the one that gets pulled out before an election.

It was created back in the past being expose with time on planet earth.
Everyone is at loss and blurr with what went wrong out there until little children expose it with time on planet earth.
Now someone out there is looking into it and trying to solve it .
Since no one knows about it.
That is the mystery of what us-911 is all about on planet earth.

Well at least this government is thinking about the majority of the people it represents. Not like the Tories who only think of themselves and the ones who pay them the most. Remember the Tories can only govern by the fear of you being one of the 3,000,000 million unemployed.

The only things the government think about are:
1. how can they rip off the british public for more taxes.
2. how big a pay rise they should vote for themselves.
Other than that the government are incapable of thought

the views of the people that elected them are always in their minds. after all they want to get re-elected. sometimes being in government they have to make decisions that they know will not be popular but might be the correct course of action. that is the burden of responsibility.
