The idea of the AT&T test is to see if you are 'normal, balanced, and smart enough to be taught the AT&T way'. They do not want you to study because they want to see who you really are - like an IQ test or personality test. AT&T (and other large companies) plan on teaching you all about their systems, procedures, etc. and want to maek sure you have basic skills to learn whet they teach you, and the personality to fit in. They do not expect you to know anything about the telephone network (they will teach you taht) - but they want to know that if they put you in a training class (and they will) that you can learn and pass it. Your life has prepared you for this - you are either the right stuff for them or not! Good luck!

For reading comprehension, I would go look at the AP English Language and Comp. description and take the sample test to test yourself and prepare.
