Ok, has anyone on here ever got pregnant after being on the pill for 2 years and never missing a pill and if you did you made it up?? I have had a really bad week the week before my period with being sick with a virous and now i'm a week late. not only was i sick but i was stressed. it started a little bit like the brown stuff on the day it was suppose to but that was it?? am i ok??? will it be ok to still continue taking the pill??

You probably missed your period due to the virus and stress. That would be too early to be morning sickness so don't worry about that. If you took any antibiotics it could make your BC ineffective so there would be a chance there. If not and you really are faithful to your BC then chances are that you are not. I would not take any more pills until after a test because that can cause harm just in case you are. You can buy a test for a dollar and it is just as good as the expensive ones so do it just to set your mind at ease.

Your best bet is to go to the doctor to make sure you're not pregnant. However, it is not uncommon to have just a spot or 2 of dark brown for a period when you are on the pill. Some women's periods stop completely when taking it. Stress plays a big part in whether or not you get your period. Calm down and get a test just to be safe.

You could very well be pregnant. About a week after the "brown stuff" you should be ok to test reliably. Stay on the pill until you test. If you are pregnant, then stop the pill, of course.

More than likely stress is causing your period to be late, it hapens all the time, but you should see your doctor just in case and for peace of mind. I'm sure you're fine.
