defintion of a good man?

I believe this is in the eye of the beholder. Some might say a good man is giving and caring. Some may say a good man is a good father. Some may say a good man is good in bed. I think the definition of a man is determined internally. When I die I can determine if I was a good man. Am I satisfied with what I have accomplished.

First of all, let's focus on "man," as opposed to "boy."
The whole macho/he-man thing is the most common definition of "manhood," but it's an immature definition. Any man who rejects that has my respect.
Beyond that, it's about dignity and respect for self and others. All desirable and praiseworthy behaviours flow from that.
I can always find that definition in my mirror. Or at least I try.

My husband. He's kind, loving, compassionate, and he's mine. He's the love of my life and I had to kiss a lot of frogs before I found my prince. Men like him are few and far between and I'm glad I met him because that's when I discovered the definition of a perfect man. Although he has his faults he's such a good man and the love of my life.

Someone who is honest and trustworthy. A man that will help support the family and spends time with his family and takes interest in what they do.

A good man is one that will put your needs above his own needs. He has a strong work ethic and will take care of his families needs. He will make you feel good about yourself and be a good communicator. He won't hit you or put you down.

Someone who treats you the same when his friends are around, someone who listens to what you have to say, someone who puts you first on his list, someone who wants to spend just as time with you as you want to spend with him, someone who can't get off the phone with you without saying I love you, even if ya'll just had an argument, someone who loves you for you without trying to change you.......someone...just like my man.
