no. Marriage was created by God for heterosexual couples. It is not the territory of a social insititution nor is it the chess pawn of politically correct/ incorrect arguments. It is what it is, a vow created by God for which man developed the paperwork.

You can call it what you like when 2 members of the same gender get "together" - you can even kid yourself and call it a wedding, but the truth will always remain. You want to be gay, fine - go ahead. Want to live together - not my problem. But please don't take a Godly concept and distort it and then claim all sorts of rights under the guise of the politically correct and social "development".

If teenagers are already so screwed up when it comes to divorce, what happens when anarchy in relationships is legitimated as "marriage". Sorry, no. It's my opinion, take it or leave it, but you did ask my opinion, so there it is.

One of the reasons for marriage is that from the union, offspring come. This is across species. In a same sex marriage, there is a requirement 100% of the time to have a 3rd person donate the sperm in order for there to be children. While this is not a norm for male-female, this is a requirement for female female and in the case of male, male, adoption is the only recourse for children.

Men and women were created with body parts that fit together like pieces of a puzzle.

As a Jehovah's Witness I learned from the Bible that Same Sex relationships and of couse Same Sex Marriage is not okay in the eyes of God.In the Bible there's a town where God pour it with fire and destroy it because the people inside that town are homosexuals. Our life is very modern now but still God is still there and we can't just ignore His principles. It's for our own good too and not His.Today's life is full of acts that is questionable in God's eyes, but many people still do it without second thoughts, because they just want to fulfill their desires, desires that are wrong and sinful. But still God is there to judge us at His Day.It's too near now, and when it comes then we will see if those people who have this kind of relationship could have a salvation or not.

Don't care. I try to respect others and leave them to their business, because I want others to leave me in peace as well.
For me, being straight doesn't require hating gays.

Actually, given that marriage is essentially a religious institution, I'd argue that goverment shouldn't be involved at all in marriages gay or straight. A lot of Bible-thumpers think gay unions should not be recognized by the gov't; I suggest that NO marriages should be recognized by the gov't.
As so may religioids say about gays, I say about Christians:
"If they want to do that, I can't stop them, but they shouldn't have any special legal rights."

Personally my thought on it is that if you don't like the idea of same sex marriage then don't marry someone of the same sex. People want to talk about how marriage is sacred between a man and woman....blah, blah, blah. If it's so sacred then how come so many men and women end up divorced?

I feel that same sex marriage is nothing horrible, the way people make it seem. I can say I have been curious about being bi but I havent maybe I will who knows. I really think that it should be legal.

No, sorry.

What consenting adults choose to do, is their business. But marriage is a sacred vow made between a man & a woman before the eyes of God.

It is legal here in Canada. And it should be. Marriage is about love and commitment.
