Easy? Fairly. Safe? We don't know.

That's the thing about Microsoft... They keep pretty quiet about most security problems in their products, despite what their PR group tries to tell us. There have already been a couple security holes found (normal for a release like this, unfortunately). I'd say wait a little bit until some of the bigger problems get fixed.

I am using it now, but I mainly use Firefox because of the great features associated with that browser.

Nothing is ever 100% safe, look at how long hackers were pounding on IE 6, at least Microsoft has had a lot of time to plug holes, I went to IE 7 becasue it is about time they finally added some decent usefull features.

You have to go into Internet options and manage add ons to make it a bit more secure, I have my software channel permissions set to High. If you have to use IE then there is no point sticking with IE6. Yes I find it easy to use.

I have not personally tried this version of IE, BUT, in the past other versions have been bad and attract viruses.

I HIGHLY recomend Mozilla Firefox. It is a much safer browser that is easy to use, and customizable. You can get pre-made skins for it on the net, or make your own. Plus it attracts hardly any viruses at all. If i were you, i'd get Firefox.

I don't know how much it is safe, but this is definitely sure that the new product is always best from before. So try it and also check this link by the review of CNET,
