I have a teacher that I thought was pretty cool, until last night. She was wearing a pretty green sweater, and I was feeling pretty good about everything, and then she lifted her arms to stretch during class break, and she had these NASTY dark sweat circles under her arms. I wanted to gather my books and run out of the class. Now, I am going to dread going to that class, because I will never see her as anything more than a walking sweat stain. Yuck!

I truly think that's pretty shallow-different blends of cloth won't breathe as well as others, so that may be whats causing it, or maybe she just sweats more than others, it happens, and its not something you should disrespect her for. I had problems with it when I was a young teenager, but luckily-I grew out of it. It made me very self concious. I'm sure your teacher isn't to wild about it either. I realize it's probably hard not to notice now, but to go from liking this woman, to viewing her as nothing more than a sweat stain within 30 seconds is I'm sorry but pathetic. Perhaps you should take a look at yourself and how you judge people.

So... are you saying you NEVER sweat? I don't have much respect for people who judge others for their natural body functions. Is she a good teacher? Is she a good person? Good lord.

Our bodies have sweat glands, and under the arm is a "hot bed" -- plus your poor teacher is dealing with all of you. She's probably tired and stressed out from it. The last thing she needs or deserves is some priss freaking out because her body is simply doing what it naturally does.

Well you seem like a really nice person dont you? whats wrong with you? What the hell is wrong with sweat?? It's the bodies natrual way of breathing, and your teacher cant help it if she sweats or not. As long as she dosen't smell bad there's no reason for you to feel so disgusted from her. God! grow up will you?

No i would not run away from a person i really care about f they sweat a little, after all you have to accept that every one has their own difficulties with their own body. unless it is somethin he/she cant change it will be bad to judge a person from that angle

but ofcourse if its like very smelly and causing colouring patches then it should be somethin that person should look in to and try to rectify coz there are lots of products available n market for that. f they r not doin t, then its not worth havin a good impression about that person(but not ofcourse running away) with that kind of personality. may b u can try avoidin such people

but dont run away its just a sweatin prob

You must be very shallow. Depending on how old she is she may have been having a hot flash. There are several medical conditions that may make a person sweat profusly. Unless the teacher is outwardly dirty (dirty clothes, dirt under fingernails, unbrushed teeth) why would you act like that?

Oh do grow up! Its called working hard and theres nothing wrong with sweating. As long as its not accompanied by a bad smell. Many people sweat hard even with antiperspirants.

That's a silly reason to disrespect someone. Maybe she overslept and just forgot her deoderant that day! Sheesh, give her a break!

I know exactly what you mean. My boss was the same way when one day his breath stank bad and now I look at him like a big ball of halotosis.
