I have about an acre I mow with deep woods all around. Yes I do have a 23hp tractor/mower.

use a bagger you can use it for mulch around your flowers or trees this time of yearor put it in a compost pile it will be a great dressing for plants in the spring.

Definitely the bagger. It gives you more control of the leaves. With a sweeper the leaves will blow everywhere in a light breeze. the mulch from a bagger is nice too if you need it. In a wooded area it's a good idea to mow some of the leaves pushing them just into the woods. I find this helps keep control of annoying plants like poison ivy, grape vines and excess raspberries that grow on the edge of woods.

a bagger/mulcher is the best. Leaf mold and shredded leaves make the best mulch in the world for using around your existing plants or in a compost pile. If you have a garden or a flower bed, your plants will love these shredded leaves. Make sure they are shredded though...they decompose quicker and give great benefits to your plants. Great mulch to use around plants that are iffy in overwintering. The mulch helps keep the soil warmer longer and retains moisture.
