It is a very interesting topic to study and really just involves thinking things over for yourself. I learned a lot studying it. It is a fantastic way to learn how to structure arguments (from both sides) and can be very beneficial for debating and is a recommended subject at university for those taking law. We really know nothing for sure in this life about where we came from and why we are here. It can take over your life if you let it! It is more of a romantic ideal, pondering the universe but this can be frustrating to a degree because unlike math, there aren't any conclusions and we are left none the wiser for all our effort and contemplation of what life is really all about.

You don't know much about math do you?

Math isn't always an absolute. It accepts (like philosophy) the concept of many possible variables. Anyways, you're obviously a troll.

Because it is infinite and unique. In philosophy you are never wrong only not in agreeance with the norm. It stretches the mind beyond facts. That's like asking why do we dream- because or minds are capable of it.
