The best thing to do is, of course, go to the doctors. If you are bleeding & its getting heavy, you will start to get cramps. You will bleed like a normal period, then you will pass clots of fetal tissue. This can have severe cramping with it. If you bleed too much, you will need emergency help, but under normal circumstances, no medical help is needed to miscarry. Nature does it. THen after, you'll bleed for a few days to 4-5 weeks straight, depending on your body.

First of all you do need to see a doctor soon. I spotted during my first pregnancy and I now have a healthy 18 year old son. I was put on light duty early in my pregnancy, which means no heavy lifting and taking it easy. Then later in the pregnancy I was put on full bed rest.
Second, you should not let fear of giving birth keep you and your child from the help you need. If you are pregnant, you are going to give birth! There is no way around that. It is hard, it can be painful, but it is necessary. And by the ninth month of pregnancy you will be glad to be able to get the kid out!!
You should buy the book "What to Expect When you
are Expecting" It will walk you through each month of pregnancy as well as explain the birthing process. Most hospitals also have classes about childbirth. They have lots of information about pregnancy and delivery. There are lots of options and medications out there these days, that help make delivery more comfortable. Millions of women have given birth and lived through it, and gone on to have another child. I hope you have a husband that will help you through.
Good luck.

If you have a fear of giving birth why did you get pregnant? Pregnant women need prenatal care to make sure the fetus and the woman are healthy. You need to go to the doctor now..heavy bleeding is not good.

You should go to the doctors. You may not have been pregnant (sometimes the home tests are wrong). I'm guessing that they will do an ultrasound which will tell whether there is a baby and how it is doing. If they find one and it seems okay, they will probably advise bedrest. I've had this happen once and now have a beautiful daughter. Please relax because stress makes things worse. (I played Ninetendo for hours to keep my mind off of it.) Good Luck and let us know how you are.

My heart goes out to you...it sounds like you are probably having a miscarriage. You need to go to a doctor to confirm it, and to make sure that you recover from it. You could develop a very bad infection and that is way worse than childbirth!
It is very important to get prenatal care when you are pregnant. Regardless of your fears...even if you were to carry to full term, childbirth is inevitable! From what you have described though...it sounds like an early miscarriage. Are you sure that you were even pregnant??
In the future, if you should concieve again...take care of yourself and your baby...GO TO THE DOCTOR! Childbirth is difficult...but I assure you that it is worth it! It must not be that bad if some of us crazy people do it multiple times!!
Good luck to you and I hope that everything turns out ok.

It is urgent to receive care from your OB immediately. It's possible that you are miscarrying and they will want to make sure that if you are, that you don't have an incomplete miscarriage (which could lead to infection, scarring, etc.).
Fear of giving birth is natural, but early prenatal medical care is the best way to ensure the least amount of complications for both you and baby - especially if you aren't miscarrying.
Good luck.

GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR. Spotting is sometimes normal in pregnancy, but regardless, you need to see your doctor. Proper pre-natal care is one of the most important things you can do for your baby (and yourself). As far as fear of child-birth that is normal too, but you have got to go to the doctor.

Are you ABSOLUTELY sure you were pregnant in the first place? For the sake of you and what may be growing inside of you, you MUST MUST go to a doctor... or at least a clinic if you don't have insurance.
