Finding Next years new enrollment

First convert 7% to decimal

7 ÷ 100 = 0.075

Multiply 900 times 0.075

900 x 0.075 = 63

Add 900 plus 63

900 + 63 = 963

The answer is 963

The new enrollmet will be 963

Original amount = 900
Rate of growth = 7%
Time = 1 year
New enrolment = 900(1 + 7/100)^1
= 900[(100+7)/100]
= 900(107/100)
= 9*107
= 963
The new enrolment is 963 students.

900 at the strat of the school year

7 % increase

900 / 100 x 7% = 963 pupils

Thus new enrolement = 963 pupils

You can check your answer is right by thinking that 10% of 900 would be 90 so 1% would be 9 and 9 x 7 = 63

Have a nice day
