Well without knowing the state you live in it is really hard to give you a concrete answer. I am not even really sure of the exact amount I have deducted every week. I figure that 25% of my income will be deducted for taxes, ect. and then I figure on getting that amount. I have usually over figured so my check is bigger than I thought, nice suprise!

Try that and see how it works.

I make 13.77 an hour and work 40 hours a week ... so I make $550.80 pre-tax (gross income) ... then I have to deduct my pre-tax deductions which are union dues and 401K program which totals about $40 a week ... the remainder $510.80 is then I multiply that by .25 ... which gives me $383.10 which just abot what I take home.

Hope this helps.

Depends on how many dependents you declared when you signed your W-4 and whether you have to pay for things like medical care coverage, 401(k), union dues, etc. If you don't have any of that stuff and you claimed zero dependents on your W-4 they take out the maximum amount of tax, so your take-home pay would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $375.00 per week. If you claimed one or more dependents, your take-home pay would be a little north of $400.00 per week. Does that give you a ball-park idea?

You make $480 before taxes, I would say, depending on how you filed out your W4, they will take maybe between $100 to $150.
