I think the one you're after is called "Annika" - it had Jesse Birdsall in it and was about a Swedish girl. I don't know where you would find it, but perhaps the Jesse Birdsall bit will help with a search. Good luck.

Anneka was great Jessie Birdsall and Vas Blackwood. I remember it well. About a guy who falls in love with a swedish girl. I have very strong memory of it, but I don't know whether it's available on DVD prob have more luck on VHS... wonder if it's as good as I remember it, good luck...
