did anyone hear that if you bought an X-Box 360 before christmas last year and it broke you get a free one. Because mine did like 3 days after the warenty ran out.

Lol, no recall... thats a myth.. but if your 360 broke within the warranty you oculd send it in ot microsoft and they would either give you a new system or repair yours for no fee... Hope this helps =]

There is the recall on power cords for units manufactured before October 23, 2003. I have heard nothing and can find nothing any additional recall for problems. They might not have issued a recall, but you may still have some options.

What happened to yours - why do you say is it broken? Have you checked out www.xbox.com for troubleshooting assistance? If you go through xbox support posted on http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/?WT.svl=nav, and you are still having problems, try contacting customer support and see what your options are. They could be replacing on a case-by-case basis, rather than incur the panic and expense of an actual recall.
