click the start menu, go to "control panel", then hit your "network & internet connections" button, then hit your "internet options" button, then click the "clear history" button , at this point you could also clear your cookies & files buttons. The debate is out there wether or not this step is important or not, but that is where spywear & adwear attach itself to, so I do clear those out regularily. Good luck to you

Clear the Search History in the Toolbar Options or you can do it in Control Panel as well.

click on the pencil on your yahoo toolbar. then select clear search history. that was easy!
