Nobody in their right mind will open a Word document from your MySpace. Word documents are notoriously easy to riddle with viruses. If you want to publish something online, do it through the proper channels - preferably HTML, but PDF will do (although the file size will be much larger than HTML).

If you put the document on the web and link to it just like any other hot link, the viewer's browser will know how to use the document. No big problem. The problem is that Myspace doesn't host such files.
In addition, consider that anyone downloading the document can make changes and edit both the text and picture. If this document is important to keep in its orignal state, consider putting it into PDF (portable document format). You can do this from Word, by downloading a simply utility like PDF995.
PDF995 is a print utility. You open your document, select Print, and then select PDF995 as the printer. It then asks y ou for the name of the PDF file and creates it. Simple.

MySpace won't actually store the file. You would need to host the file somewhere else, and then link to the file from MySpace.
