Yep. No doubt in my mind. He is my best friend. We've been through some really tough times together and he has stuck by me at a time when he could have easily walked away. I'd do anything for him and wouldn't leave him for anything.

Lyndee hit the nail right on the head. True love encompasses all aspects, not only the physical beauty. If the situation were reversed, and you were the one disfigured, would you want your partner to stay with you???

YES!!! My uncle was burned over 65% of his body (yes, his face as well) in a plane crash when he was in his late 20's. His wife of only a few years, my aunt, stayed right by his side. That was almost 28 years ago. They are still happily married. Love has nothing to do with physical appearance. We all become "disfigured" slowly over the years, as the bloom of youth fades from our bodies. What's the difference if it happens all at once or over time? Love is love. End of story.

i does no longer abandon my spouse/husband if this have been to take place to them. they are nevertheless the comparable impressive individual interior that I fell in love with and that i might assume that they might nevertheless experience the comparable approximately me if the region have been reversed. Marriage vows are severe and while they say " For extra helpful or for worse, in ailment and in well being, for richer for poorer, till dying do us area"....i think of this bears mirrored image. those are no longer in basic terms words somebody desperate to fill an ungainly hollow interior the bridal ceremony with....they actually propose some thing and that some thing is love and dedication defined in those very words. a individual who ought to turn their returned on their spouse/husband/spouse while they are maximum in want is a individual and not utilising a soul or judgment of right and incorrect, a individual of genuine unabiding selfishness and not somebody who i might believe for any reason.

disfigured or not its still the person i would have fell in love with. Love has nothing to do with looks and is based on personality.
If my partner( God forbid) was involved in an accident i would never leave him.

If you truly love somebody, their looks on the outside shouldn't matter at all. Love is much more than the appearances of what the other person looks like. If you only love that person because he or she is good looking and something happens to change their looks, then your love is shallow and not real.
Love should be unconditional regardless of looks or disabilities. Are you ashamed to be seen with this person in public? Are you afraid of other people talking about you and this other person?
If you truly love and care about this person, now more than ever, you should love him or her more and be there for this person to support and take care of this person.
Yes if I was in your shoes, I would gladly stay with the one I love. Regardless of what other people may think. The ultimate choice however is yours and yours alone. I just hope that if you are thinking about abandoning this person, you can live with your conscience.
Good luck and I hope you make the right decision for both of you.

Yes, of course I would stay. I fell in love with him, not what he looks like. And I'm sure he'd stay with me if it were reversed.
