I was wondering what types of rings are exchanged in Latin American countries. Are two seperate rings given for engagement and then wedding? Are diamonds a tradition there too?

If not, what are the typical ring traditions in the different countries?

if you have enough money to buy a big diamond ring you do, if you not, you buy the diamond ring you can afford.

in the engagement party you give your fiance the ring and in the wedding you give her the wedding ring, that probably the 2 of you chose together. unless you want to surprise her.

basically, its the same as in u.s.

but if this girl is from indigenious roots maybe they have different traditions and then you have to ask her directly. but the rest of the society is the same as here.

Marriage is something we find in almost every culture around the world. Although the union between two people who love each other is central to each marriage, each culture has its own traditions. For example, there are wedding clothes, colour themes, blessing rituals and wedding food traditions. There are also smaller cultural differences. One of the best known of these is the wearing of a wedding ring. Although the wedding ring is seen as one of the most universal symbols in the world and carries the same symbolic significance almost everywhere, how the ring is made and worn varies throughout the world.
