The best biography I ever read watching actually an autobiography. Jenna Jameson's "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale." Fantastic book. I would rec commend it to anyone. It's about struggle, success, and finding out who you are, with a few really good sexual interludes thrown in for good measure. Enjoy! Oh yeah, there are also 30 pages of photos...

I've just read 'Marley & Me' by John Grogan.
It's a slice of his life, lasting as long as the life of his dog. I really enjoyed it, though I must admit that it made me cry.
John may not be a world leader or an important historical figure but it was good to travel for a while in his shoes.

Later - oops this is an autobiography & not a biography, sorry

I think the book was just called "Edie" about Edie Sedgwick who was part of Andy Warhol's Factory crowd in the 60's. I really enjoy reading about that "scene" but I also liked the format. The book was a series of paragraphs by different people that told her story in full when put together.

Frank Sintra by Kitty Kelly--that is not the proper title of the book. I don't remember the name of it. It was published in the late 70's or early 80's. Very interesting life.

it's not exactly a biography, it's a bit more of a autobiography of sorts, but i couldn't put it down and read it in about 2 hours. it's called "From Baghdad, With Love" by Lt. Col. Jay Kopelman with Melinda Roth.
i love to read, and when i find a good one i let people know, and i'm pretty hard to please!
