How did you come out while living in the South?

Ok how did you come out and what was the reaction. The bigger question is why did you do it.

I lived there for 2 years but it was just too boring and country.

I'm not, so I don't know.
But coming out as Atheist is just as bad. All sorts of Baptists start splashing holy water on you... it's not pretty.

hy hons gay boyfriends daviie and steviie, we were in, florida, at the time, my current boyfriend steeviie came out we were i6, and 17 at the time and had grew up as boyfriend friends, and had my boyfriend steevie grew up in a, abusive horrible, childhood, his old man was a travelling insurance executive who was a drunk and a womanizerr, and, i cant tell you how many night we used too spend in his tree house trying too get away from the, horible knock downe drag out fights betwenn his mother and his drunken dad when he got off the road. the broken windows smashed furniture the black blue marks bustedd jaws of his mother and, just horrible horible fights constantly. i thank god he was there for me, and when we became 16 and 17 we both came out and got tossed out , bye both dads in the families and just hit the highways at that age. we vowed to stay together and still are now and we are in our 20s. the reactionn was a relief for my boyfriend, he, just got tired of the constant fighting bickering, busted firniture winows and just trying too cope with life. he went threw hell but i was there threw out our childhood in a drunkn, horrible, knock downe drag out childhood. we have vowed too remain together, but coming out was not easy, we wrre quietly too leave get too hell out, fags and never look back. we never have. we strugled at first on the streets turned male triicks and we had too too surive. hitch-- hiked- from one state too another spent a lot of nights sleeping in the woods, and, dumster diving in order too surive. we landed in california, and made it in the male modelling business. we lok back on his childhood, and just shake our heads. finally the fights and busted windows and, bruisess are over with.
