Well, it kinda depends on the job. But... If You have a genuinely good job, ask Your boss for more challenging work. This will show the exects that You are a valualble asset to their company and ward off boredom. If this is impossible due to circumstance, start searching for a new one. FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS!!! Make a new resume. Consiter possibilities You haven't consitered before, search for exciting jobs that keep Your interrest, and Most of all, remember that all things are possible thru faith int YOU!!!! ( and God ). Best of luck!!!! Jennifer Ann

Answering these questions certainly helps. But when even that fails, I roll up my sleeves and get stuck in to all the dirty work with my employees for a change. They hate it coz it means they have to work with the boss. But I say, tough cookies, I want my day to go faster. How selfish am I?! ;-p

Hey I have a novel idea! You could actually work. Now I personally never have tried that and usually resort to Yahoo Answers for my entertainment when not at the water cooler, in the bathroom, at lunch or checking my email.

Still keeping your mind on your job, remind yourself of your favorite things you like to do away from work. Do you have something pleasant planned for the evening? If not, and money permits, go out on the town or rent/see a movie(s).

start looking for another job where you don't get bored. life's too short to be bored doing something day in day out. Think about training for something else.

Chat on messenger, email friends you haven't contacted in a long time, answer questions. That way you constantly look busy typing on your computer.

Of course, finding work to do will look good to your boss. They like initiative.

Personally I like prefer the first option.
