Just make sure they know you are pregnant. They should know how to treat you best without affecting your baby.

Good Luck!

You can have dental work done so long as they don't use a general anesthetic...local anesthetics are fine..i had a root canal and crown work done after an accident playing tag when I was 12 weeks along. At 18 weeks, I had another dose of local anesthetic to drill a cavity. You're fine. Until you can get in to see the dentist, try using oragel...it was a lifesaver for me.

Yes just mention the fact to the dentist so he will know what drugs to give you. Actually tooth pain like this is caused by an infection in your tooth and they have found that one of the major causes of premature birth is infections of various systems of the body so you will be helping not harming your baby. Besides the discomforts of pregnancy are enough without a toothache.

I went to the dentist when I was about 6 weeks. Just no X-rays, but anything else should be OK, make sure you tell the dentist.

I had a tooth pulled when I was in my sixth month of pregnancy. I would go again fo ra check up, but medicaid doesn't cover dental after 21 years old.

It should be fine. The dentist office might make you get a letter from your OB stating that it's ok to have dental work done. You shouldn't have a problem though.
