I have heard it before and I'm sure you have heard it too but this is seriously disturbed. I was babysitting my nephew last night and he loves watching Sponge Bob, there was this part where he is making Origami (or however it's spelled) shapes of himself and Squidwird and this was his quote "here you go Squidwird, that's us playing, you're in the bottom and I'm on top" he fixes it again and he says "now I'm on top". Another episode where he is wearing a dress, another where he wearing mascara, another where he is polishing his nails, and finally one where he is playing a house wife...now how disturbing is that? And he never goes on a date, the only time he went with that whale girl as a friend or something.
That is just plain sick to make a gay cartoon.

Ok sorry about the "sick" part that came out wrong, what I meant to say, don't you think it's a bit strange? Don't get me wrong, I love watching him, he's stupid and sooo funny, but I was wondering about that a little

When young children watch Spongebob, they hopefully have no idea that "top and bottom" can be a double-entendre reference to gay activity. Adults are so focused on sex that we can find something sexual about just about anything.
I hope that the creator of Spongebob is just trying to make a funny, innocently-stupid little character for children to laugh at. If the intention is to make Spongebob gay, then the cartoon should be on Adult Swim instead. Young children should not be exposed to sexual content before they're ready--Not gay sex or straight sex or any kind of sex!! Let them be innocent for a few years anyway!!!!
I've often heard people contest that Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street are gay too. But I think, again, that's just adults trying to read something sexually funny into anything they see.

It appears that he may be or at least very feminine, but it's only a cartoon. Children do not read too much into little things like adults do. All they know is that Spongebob and his pals are fun to watch and they're entertained. Not what SPongebob prefers to do behind closed doors and with whom. But it's funny you mentioned this though. My four-year-old daughter will argue with you until she's blue in the face cuz she thinks Spongebob is a girl! I keep telling her that he's not, that he's a boy. But she gets so mad and will not listen to anyone when they say "he's a boy". But anyway, if he comes off as gay, I'm sure they didn't intend to portray him as that. I wouldn't read too much into it until the writers go overboard and make something totally inappropriate.

They do look so. I strongly have faith that with the intention to charm to a extra robust objective marketplace the creators and manufacturers of the teach desperate in this attitudes for their characters. i think of which you're genuine on the funds declaring that sponge bob is bisexual

ok yeah spongebob has....some...gay tendancies. and yes i personally find the sponge quite creepy. but if the writers want him to come across as a bit gay, so what? yong kids who watch it either won't understand or won't care. does anyone care that there were 5 male turtles living together in a sewer. no. its 2006! will and grace- gay! eve the simpsons have gay stuff! unless you see spongebob anally penetrating patricks butt i wouldn't worry too much.
im not trying to be a cheeky cow but...

I don't think it was intended. Spongebob would of never got this popular if he was gay. I've heard it before, but I think it's just people saying stuff b/c they are scared Spongebob is going to take over the world.

I think it is simply a cartoon for Kids, you must watch it alot to have this much info. If it is a problem at your house turn the channel, but don't stress about it.

No, I don't think that SpongeBob is a Homosexual.
You shouldn't either. It's suppose to be a kid show that's the reason his character has child like innocent qualities.
So, why'd your mind go there?

Im sure he is gay. That´s not a problem, because there is a lot of gays in this word.... but somehow, lots of parents can be worried, because it is a diferent example for our children.
