Yeah.. why not? If people can have Tofurkeys.. I geuss it would be fine.
But yeah come to think of it, we have turkey all the time throughout the year, just not as dressed up.. usually on a sandwich or something.
So it should be fine.

'Thanksgiving' is not the meal. Thanksgiving is about being thankful for what you have. The family down the street that can't afford the 'typical thanksgiving dinner' is just as thankful as the family that can! They will just celebrate it in a different way and with a different entree. Having your family and friends and whatever else you are thankful for is what makes thanksgiving ok.
