i'm over in iraq on deployment, i got music, and wanna go to a few clubs but i'm pretty sure i dance about as well as a guy getting tazed. if anyone can help that'd be cool but if not i guess thats alright because i figure its probably one of those things you just gotta go out and do. figured i'd ask anyways.

If you have any access to a tv and dance video you could do that or go to the clubs and just sit and watch the people dancing to get some moves to practice. Hope all goes well sweetie.

One method of "self Lerning" to dance is to dance in front of a Mirror. You will develop confidence in the way you appear to your self. Have the music playing and Move to the beat of the music....make your movements as "fluid" as Possible.
Remember: "Dance as though no One is Looking" Should you find a dance partner that you like, the dance steps will become less importent...and Keep eye contact :)

you can practice by jsut watching others. Go to a club, watch people the first time and then go and practice. Also, dancing is not as hard as you think, just let your body move with the beat. good luck and im sure you will do fine.

I'm sure you're not that bad at dancing! Everyone has their own way of expressing themselves while the music plays. Don't worry...just order/buy/rent a dance workout video from your local store or if not type in on google words that relate to it... i get all my video's from www.play.com if that's any help.

A lot depends on your circumstances. I think you need to learn the Foxtrot. When the band is having a break ask one of the ladies who dances well to show you. She will most likely be delighted.

You could get instructional videos which would demonstrate the dances before you just jump in.

personally i think of dancing like driving, you must learn how to dance not only by direction but by someone telling you your doing something wrong and ho to corret it.
