The strange thing about it is i dont usually dream about anything i thought of or anything familiar with my daily life.I dream of different things, love, fighting someone or a monster, running, having sex, being in a different country for tour, floating, being with family members and sometimes i laugh out loud or talk loud whilst in a deep sleep.I have been dreaming since childhood and i have seen my younger brother too talk and laugh or smiles in his sleep. What is this?? i want to understand where they come from.

Dreams come from deep within the sub-concisous mind.

I think dreaming is the minds way of working through unsolved problems or just having fun. The closer your unconscious mind works with your conscious mind, the more rational your dreams become, the more you will have dreams.. When your unconscious works directly with your conscious mind, you can get to the point of controlling the dream.

The subconscious minds sometimes use symbols to represent issues. A person you fear or something you fear, becomes what you fear the most... the monster. The subconscious goes to the extremes, trying different possibilities. If you think in arbitrary terms... good ... bad... Your subconscious mind could go to the extremes of what is good or bad. Concentrate on what is the extreme of good... or the extreme of bad...See if that affects your dreams...

I don't know if everyone dreams. I always remember my dreams, sometimes I have to think if what I dream a real memory or just the dream. My dreams are close to reality....but then there will be one or two mistakes...

Dreams are just normal outings of your sub-conscious. Since our brains have software (if that be the word) to seek patterns, to simulate and visualise things etc. when you sleep the brain processes information which you may not be aware of in awakeness. So you see monsters, angels etc etc. Apart from this natural explanation - there are some who say dreams have a metaphysical side to it, like premonitions etc. But evidence for such is lacking beyond coincidence and spurious similarities. Anyway if you dream - well I guess you have a good life! Some of us can not dream even day dreams ........

Everyone dreams, not everyone can remember them. Dreams represent random patterns that your brain inteprets and string into a story. Since it is your mind trying to intepret the images each dream is unique to you, although there are factors that usually mean the same thing in large groups of people. For example chase dreams are usually considered an anxiety dream, your mind trying to deal with the stress of the day.

yeah i dream all the time i have several different dreams most nights and i can pretty much remember them quite clearly. sometimes i have to really think if its reality or just a dream. i have alot of nightmares and some really sad like family members dying and i wake up crying! my partner thinks im a right weirdo! they say its the mind in its sub-conscious state so i guess its unexplainable as to what they mean etc....

There is one theory that will tell you that dreams are our subconscious minds working out unresolved feelings from the previous day; frustrations, stress, elation, even if we've found someone sexually attractive and were unable to act upon it! In effect re-setting ourselves from lots of unresolved neurological activity.
Apparently it does not matter what format these feelings take in our dreams, hence the popular dream diagnosing; where we attempt to translate what or who our dreams really relate to!
