some homes are described as zero lot lines, what does this mean?

to be able to build the most house on a lot, they put them as close to the property line as allowed by zoning. means you have very little space between one building and another.

A zero lot line house is one in which you buy the house but only lease the land. This keeps the price and carrying costs down because you only pay interest on the land value and principal and interest on the house itself. It is similar to leasing a car.

It means that one side of your home is built on the Lot Line- the eve does not matter. Only one side though. the other side, there home is on the lot line-
