I'm a devotee of AMD products but in this comparison I would definitely vote for the Pentium. Why? The P4 has on-board L2 flash memory whereas the Sempron does not. This greatly increases the processors efficiency(speed of operation). :-)=

In this case, the Pentium 4 because the P4 are Intels mainstream line while the Sempron is AMDs budget line, much like the Celerons. Now if you were comparing P4 to Athlon, or Celeron to Sempron, I would suggest taking the AMD in either case, but because you are compaing a mainstream model to a budget model, go with the mainstream, in this case the Pentium 4.

Sempron 3300+ in all likelihood more effective perfect than a pentium 2.93GHZ the component is, semprons weren't outfitted to out carry out P4's, they were outfitted to triumph over celerons. I recommend that you go purchase an athlon sixty 4 or an opteron 1xx sequence. Athlon sixty 4 3000+ swifter than P4 3.00GHZ Athlon sixty 4 3400+ swifter than P4 3.40GHZ Athlon sixty 4 4000+ swifter than P4 @ 4.00GHZ Opteron 100 and 44/148 overclocked = fantastic by technique of how, AMD's produce a lot less warmth than a Pentium 4 through AMD's more effective structure. Intel's 2MB cache is ineffective because decrease than 2% of programmes use more effective than 1MB of cache. (Amd's are also more cost-efficient!) visit the internet sites decrease than and be conscious for your self

i go for AMD Sempron. That's my PC. Go for AMD Sempron 3000+ 64-bit series.
Intel doesnt have 64-bit processor during the time AMD releases its new 64-bit series processors. Intel was still working on it.
