San Antonio - 7th largest city in the country - still has a Double A team for God's sake! The Marlins came close to relocating here. With 62% of the population being Hispanic, it should be the San Antonio Tacos, but would probably wind up being something like the Missions (the current minor league team) or Armadillos.
Las Vegas will have a team in the next few years as well, either through expansion or relocation, just like San Antonio. No way could Vegas call their team the Gamblers, so it would have to be something else, Desert Rats maybe.
Portland is another good possibility. Maybe they could call them the Sasquatches.
Another possible place is Charlotte. I'd like the Charlotte Hicks or Hillbillies, but they'd probably be called something like the Racers to honor NASCAR (whoopie).
And there's always the possibility of the Tidewater area of Northern Virginia which could take the name of the minor league team, the Tides.
Buffalo is another good candidate, but the weather there is a big drawback. Hard to tell what they would call them, the Bisons maybe?
And one place you can be sure they WON'T put a team into is Montreal. Think they learned their lesson there.

I would like to see a total makeover. Move Milwaukee and Toronto to Nashville and New Orleans. Then make 3 leagues
of 10 teams each. Northern League, Southern League & Western
League. The White Sox could be in the Southern League since
they are on Southside of Chicago. The people & city of New
Orleans deserves a MLB Team and we need to get out of Canada.

No more expansion. they need to do some team moving however. they could move Tampa to North Carolina, New Orleans. i think that we have enough teams but dont have the best distribution of those teams. why would they keep teams in areas where the fan base is minimal. Montreal is a good example the team had no fan base then was moved to Washington Where the fan base is still minimal.

There are a couple of cities interested in getting franchises. Most notably is San Antonio, Texas. They were talking about buying the Florida Marlins. Realistically though, I don't see it happening. There's a good chance that within the next ten years there'll be some talk, but more that likely it won't happen. Maybe a couple of teams will relocate, but that's out of the question right now.

Baseball is the best game ever. We don't need any more expansion. We should do the opposite and get rid of some teams like Washington and Tampa.

Any further sports expansion in the four major sports is a ridiculous idea.
You could always rename the Mets the Flushing Toilets, considering the area around Shea Stadium in NYC is full of...
Well you get the point.

Lansing, MI has a AAA team...
I think MLB is stretched out too thin.
I think they need to contract at least 2 teams.
Tampa Bay & Arizona need to go.
