Why are Women such Gossip machines?

They talk their heads off, the only way to get them away from gossiping is to show em the pimp hand.

Apparently you haven't worked with a group of men, because they put women to shame. Be careful with that "pimp hand" cause you might get a bigger "***** slap" back at ya...at least you would from me, Meathead!

You call it gossip.. women call it communication, and talking about their feelings, perhaps. Read 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus' (John Gray) - women thrive on talking about things, it relieves them of stress and is a way of caring.

(Men are otherwise, they would rather mull over the issue, and solve it on their own. Asking for help is only a last resort, and anyway, they won't admit defeat just like that.

So, women may talk of people, as a healthy emotional outlet.. men, politics and news.

We just speak different languages.

(Well I hope your case study doesn't mean 'malicious' gossip. Now that's bad!)

That's funny and I'm a woman myself, but guess what i grew up around all guys and they gossip just as much. So does my man. So it goes both ways. Men are just more secretive about it. So i guess yall need the pimpette hand as well lol

Oh come on! Why tar EVERY woman with the same brush. I know some men would could talk the hind legs off a donkey and talk for WAY longer than me. Maybe it's because women have more interesting things to say?!

We are more open to express ourselves unlike men but it doesnt mean that everytime we talk we gossip.
