For alot of people though this is tied in with their email accounts and personal calenders and reminders, so it is a hassle.

It basically showcases the attitude of the people who are employed by Yahoo. They are far to lazy to actually read something for themselves to see if it is, in fact, a violation. Many of these outrageous, bigoted, slanderous questions or quasi-questions that are posted come from avitars that are still on level 1. They don't care if they are suspended because they'll just create another and go back to spewing more of their filth.
Meanwhile, the empty suits at Yahoo allow them to get away with their abuse of the rest of us. I have always had a wry sense of humor but I have to watch every single thing I present or get slammed by these phony abuse reports. I really wish that another web server would come up with a similar forum because I'd move in a heartbeat.

I've only ever been violated by the posse once and that was for promoting a website even though that site was for reference to the answer's proof. I feel it was entirely politically motivated, but then the rule they cited applied. I have always tried to answer the questions honestly and with backing evidence where relevant. I only get about 10% best answers though, simply because the askers and voters are so basically partisan. I believe if the raters operated from a basic rule of verify the answerer, I'd be rated more along the lines of 30% best answers.

I was not terribly offensive and I NEVER used swear words or called anyone idiots as the liberals call me BUT - I was suspended from my 7000 pt. account. I have it back now but am using RLP too so if they go after me again we won't lose the family calendar and an email address I use for junk mail when it is requested.
It is TERRIBLE that some jerks remain on here while nice people get shut down but there is nothing we can do about it. At least, nothing right now. I had questions removed that were not controversial. I wrote them and asked them if they even READ the questions - they ALWAYS sent a form letter and that is infuriating!

I haven't changed the message I am trying to deliver.
I have changed the method I use to deliver that message.
I don't care about the points or being chosen as best answer. I care that the ideals I have are fairly represented.
As for being concerned that they may disconnect me.. I have lived 40+ years without Yahoo Answers. I suppose I can live another 40+ years just fine if they boot me.

I state my opinions no matter what and in the way I choose to state them. If I get a violation for expressing my opinion in a non politically correct manner, so be it. This is only the Internet.

The cons who have disappeared off this site were some of the most benign. The most moderate. The least offensive.
The trolls that are taking people out are level 1. They are taking out level 5.
I'm tired of it. I will continue to speak as I always have, and I plan to address this issue constantly with Yahoo.

This is the email account I use for everything except family and friends.
If someone reports me because I crushed their oh so nice and calm vision of a socialist utopia then so be it.
