They Change your (synthetic)oil and filter-LOF-, Check all fluids, change your coolant and brake fluid if it's due, Check your brakes, general check of the car, belt, hoses. CHECK, check check.... It takes about 3 hours while they do the service and inspection. You need this done if you wish to have warranty in running order. If you are out of warranty, you should still have it done. Keeps your car running well and helps with the re-sale value. Marc is right.

Hello, I am a Mercedes-Benz Technician in the Bay Area of
California. a "B" service on a 2002 C-class (model 203) consists
of....an oil and filter change, replacement of the wiper blades,
washer fluid, dust filter replacement(near passenger's side cowl area) and a complete safety inspection. In some cases, a change of brake fluid and or coolant, and a tire balance and rotation might be done at the same time, but is not included in the actual service.

When I was there (Mercedes Dealer as a tech) in 2003, we would change the oil(synthetic 7.5 - 8 qts), cabin filters, rotate tires, balance front tires, check the brakes, fluid levels, all of the interior/exterior lights, windshield wipers, host of other checks & reset FSS counter. It also depends on miles. MB recommends only approved synthetic oils as of 1998. The dealer chargers about 2.2 hours for this servce and I usually charge my customers about 1/2 the $$$ to do this service.

If you are doing this yourself, depending on miles, I would rotate the tires, change cabin air filters, check the brakes, change engine oil, & reset the light. You also might want to check for any obvious leaks, belts & hoses.
