No way I don't think this is normal, I had a laporscopy in 2003 and though the first two weeks were agony, the pain by the third week was merely a twinge or two. Go back to GP and insist on them referring you to someone else if you are not happy.

ok bleeding more than any time over a period is not good.. and with surgerys sometimes some people don't heal as fast... and with the endo its really really hard to get all of it and then surgery even creates some I have had a laper. when I was 18 and then later a full hysterctmy b/c of pain from endo. and guess what even with nothing in there I still hurt time to time b/c there is scaring from surgery.... any time you get cut open there is a chance that things aren't going to go right that things might get worse or better as for the bleeding I would call the gyno that done your surgery and tell them you want a appt with him asap and if they tell you they can't get you in then go up there they will have to see you if you wait long enough and talk to him about everything that is going on it could be that your not healing right and something further needs to be done !

Hi Hun,
I've had 2 laporoscopy's in as many years and although I'm no expert, this is definitely not normal. After mine, there was discomfort and bleeding for a week or so and the bruise flared up, disappearing in about a month.
It is worth noting that a laporoscopy is just the involvement of a camera being pushed through your belly button for them to have a look around. If they have done something else as well, this may not be a direct cause from this procedure, it could be something else they've done.
When I had it done, they prescribed me co-codamol for the pain which really helped.
If you can afford it, pay for a private consultation with BUPA (around £40) and see what they say, their gynaecologists are amazing and then it'll put your mind at rest.
Take care.

i have a laporoscopy in 2001 (and didnt get any other probs after the op, but they didnt find anything) and my sister has endo. And has had lots of operations and bleeds heavily, with severe babck pain too.
HOWEVER, My concern is the pain when weeing..... that sounds like an infection inside....
I would get along to the doctors again..... write your symptoms down. YOU know your body and I would suggest that you need it sorting! You cant be due another laporoscopy when you have only just had one.
Just to let you know as well Endo, cant be got rid of completly... you have to keep going back for ops.
DONT WORRY, endo is unpredictable and not always the same... get yourself along to the docs again and dont leave until your happy... take someone with you for another pair of ears.
Hope it helps and take care...

I had a lap in January when i was diagnosed and a further one in June to remove the endo. I was uncomfortable for the first 2 weeks with a little bleeding. What you have experienced soes not sound right - be persistent. insist on an emergency appointment. Take care. x

Good luck babe. Be persistent till they take notice of you. Take a parent or friend to back you up.xx

No, she's an grownup. that's particularly helpful to have a verbal substitute together with her and ask her what she sees in him. perhaps invite him over and get to understand him. do no longer panic, don't be judgemental. i'm guessing that she will locate him greater exciting if she thinks it annoys you or freaks you out. take care of her like an grownup. Oh, and the detention center subject? That makes him a 'undesirable boy.' So, in case you tell her it bothers you, that makes him greater likable!

You are absolutely NOT worrying about nothng. Normal would be a bit of bleeding and discomfort for a while.
It sounds very much like an infection that is getting worse. Go back to your doctor, or even the hospital, today - and demand that they do something.

Keep going back to the doctor's/hospital. Don't give up, don't let them tell you that it's nothing.
You know your body, you know that it's not right to feel like that.
Many GP's these days tell people that their illnesses are a figure of their imaginations and not to worry about it, then it turns out to be something serious. Irrepairable damage can happen to peoples bodies and it's all the doctors faults, for not taking their patients seriously and not treating them soon enough.
Good luck, get well soon.

If it was me I would go back to the doctor again. You should not be bleeding so much and you could possibly become anaemic without treatment. Insist on a urgent referral to the hospital and tell them to get it sorted NOW!!
Good luck, be strong it will improve!
