it is a legend like in any other religion which like the one previous to me has said is a cup that Jesus Christ had sipped from which they say is one of the reasons why the crusaders fought the mohamaddans/islamists.As they thought the cup was the key to the universe and everything else in it as it has the imprint of Jesus. But according to some and by Dan Brown it is the sarcophagus/corpse/dead body of mary magdalene who is supposedly the wife of the famed son of God and whose lineage continues to this day and the Holy Church is trying to cover it up over the yrs while some or the other organizations of which the great guys leonardo, issac, einstein had been a part of have helped in ensuring the survival of the lineage which the church had tried to destroy. This is the secret quest of the crusaders for trying to capture Jerusulem the Holy city of Christianity,Judaism and Islam and which had an influence in Zoraster.

Depending on which side you take, the Holy Grail is either the cup Jesus used at the last supper, or the Holy Bloodline. (The difference is minute in the records Sang Real or Sangreal - two different things as you see above). There were many quests for the Holy Grail, even in the Arthur legends. It has never been discovered and is NOT in Vatican city. You can read for years on end about it and make up your own mind. There are many movies about this as well. Good luck, visit a library or a search engine (I prefer libraries for this topic, but the choice is yours).

The Holy Grail, from all I have gleaned, is a wooden Chalice that held the wine that Jesus drank at the Last Supper. Some believe that maybe the Holy Grail was a woman and probably Mary Magdalene.

Up to now the quest for the Holy Grail is still on going. Christians believe that the relics used by Jesus during the last supper is hidden somewhere...but no one has concrete evidence of what the Holy Grail is really all about.

The Holy Grail.
The cup used at the last supper.
The Cup used to catch Christs blood at the crucifixion.
The Bloodline of Christ.
All these could be it. The Templers might have hid it.
The Grail legend and story had been around fo a bit, but was mostly incorporated into the story of Arthur and the knights of the round table, by the romance bards...

If I remember correctly, and again, I could be wrong, it has been a long time since I researched it, but I believe the Holy Grail is the cup that Jesus drunk out of on the night before the Crucifixion. That's why it is considered so valuable. Hope that helps.

It's the supposed cup used by Jesus at the last supper. No one knows where it is, and no one can really prove that it ever existed. Just another part of the christian legend.
