Most pitchers throw 4 or 5 pitches effectively. The arsenal would really depend on the type of pitcher. If he was a groundball type pitcher or a strikeout pitcher.

Groundball Type: Fastball,Curveball,Changeup,Splitter,&Slider

Strikeout: Fastball,Cutter,Changeup,Splitter,&Curve

I don't think a fastball pitcher would use a knuckelball due to the control aspect and the ability to mix it well with their other pitches. A changeup is more usable for them.

you know, i don't see what's wrong with the good ol' fastball only, like the guys used to pitch and they could pitch complete games and then come in in relief for the second game of the doubeheader and they never had the shoulder or elbow problems that these guys have now

Slurve} a slurve off the plate and the batter will think it is a curve,
then it will break in or out of the strikezone, throwing the batter off.
